What is the role of a Financial Adviser?

Financial Planning

At the core a financial advisor’s role is to help you get the most out of your finances.

This could be as simple as helping you manage your budget, to recommending Superannuation funds and investments or creating a retirement plan for you.

A financial advisor will have a deep understanding of legislative issues and rules and can act as a medium between your incomes and your accountant, assisting in structuring investments and wealth to minimise taxes.

A financial advisor is also acutely aware of the financial risks we all face and will often provide solutions to protect your income and family.

The relationship a financial advisor has with a client requires trust. The advisor is designing a detailed plan specific to each client and to ensure the best outcome for the client the advisor needs to have a deep and personal understanding of their clients’ goals and objectives.
